Thank you, and excellent question! My household, I'm not entirely proud to say, is a typical American family in terms of food waste. We're working on it, but we admittedly throw out way too much. Stale bread, hot dog buns left in the freezer since last summer, old tofu and a wrinkled red pepper are among the food items in these images. All were on their way to the compost bin in our backyard when I stopped to take these photos. Nothing was included for the sake of the pictures.
