When I was the kid one of my all-time absolute favorite art projects involved sharpening crayons in a pencil sharpener to create colorful wax shavings, then sprinkling assorted shavings on paper, then covering with wax paper, and artifying the whole thing via a hot iron.

I don't see any reason not to go home and do that tonight. Crayons are fun, though they don't smell so great when they're cooking.
